At the heart of the Torah MiTzion Community Beit Midrash are our dedicated shlichim, Tehilla and Benny Feldman, who bring a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion for Jewish learning and Zionism. Tehilla, an Organizational Psychologist, and Benny, a military reservist Rabbi and accountant, both hold advanced degrees from Bar Ilan University.
They share a deep commitment to fostering a love for Torah and Israel in the Kansas City community, offering educational opportunities, meaningful connections, and a welcoming space for all.
Tehilla Feldman
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Tehilla made aliyah to Israel with her family as a child and grew up in Efrat. She studied at Migdal Oz and holds both a BA and MA from Bar Ilan University. As an Organizational Psychologist, Tehilla has been dedicated to working in the field of evaluation, particularly with Jewish non-profit organizations. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking, playing guitar, and relaxing with a good book.
Benny Feldman
Benny was born and raised in Israel, growing up in Efrat with his three siblings. He completed his hesder program at Yeshivat Maaleh Adumim, followed by an additional year at Yeshivat Har Etzion. Benny serves as a military reservist Rabbi in the Paratroopers Brigade and is trained both as a teacher and an accountant. He holds a BEd from Lifshitz College of Education, as well as a BA and MA from Bar Ilan University, and has been working as an accountant for the past seven years. In his spare time, Benny enjoys running, playing the clarinet, learning, and sharing a good bowl of cholent with friends.
The Kansas City Community Kollel is also guided by an exceptional volunteer board, a group of passionate individuals who generously dedicate their time, energy, and expertise to ensure the success of our mission.
